Los Angeles
It seems like nowadays I am traveling either north or south of Santa Barbara. It also seems like I am taking pictures either at a lunch or a dinner table! What's up with that? In any case, I was down in Los Angeles today for a conference. Andy is a colleague of mine from Santa Barbara and Gely from Irvine. The conference was quite good and the Millenium Biltmore, which I have never been before was magnificent! I felt like I was in a palace. It is not that easy to find architecture of this type in California...Very high ceilings with colorful decorations reminded me of the Sultans' palaces. No, I was not looking at the ceiling all throughout the conference but yes, it was distracting:)
